Description:
Funding request for salary and current expense for a Coordinator to oversee research and management of Utah's once in a lifetime big game species. These include bison, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and moose. This will include coordination of transplants, research projects, habitat enhancement, surveys, coordinate with conservation groups, etc.
Location:
Employee will be based out of the Salt Lake Office. This is a statewide position.

Funding is needed for a coordinator position to specifically oversee all big game once in a lifetime species projects/activities for the state.
Objectives:
This position coordinates transplants, data collection and surveys, research projects, habitat projects, etc. This position will also coordinate with sportsmen and conservation organizations.
