Installed 22 upland game guzzlers on the Gilson, Desert, and Drum mountains in the west desert. All guzzlers are 500 gallon rotoguzz designs with 9 ft x 12 ft metal aprons. All guzzlers were fenced with a combination of net wire and post & rail to restrict domestic livestock use but allow wildlife to use the guzzlers.

Project Narrative
Phase II of this guzzler project was completed with the DWR and the Chukar and Wildlife Foundation. Many hours of volunteer time was used including several Eagle scout projects.

Future Management
These guzzlers are maintenance free but occasional monitoring will be done by DWR employees and volunteers from the Chukar and Wildlife Foundation. Trail cameras have been placed on some guzzlers and photos will be available on the WRI database. All guzzlers locations and information will be placed on the guzzler database.
